Miranda has certainly established herself as one of the biggest female names in country music, and if you need any more proof of that, just look at how many achievements she has had this year alone!
She kicked off 2015 with the second leg of her massive “Certified Platinum” headlining tour with stops all over the U.S., which definitely isn’t a bad way to get a year started!
But as her tour reached its end and summer rolled around, Miranda’s life took an emotional turn. She and her husband Blake Shelton announced their divorce in July after four years of marriage, and their very public split wasn’t easy on either Blake or Miranda. A couple of months later, Blake was rumored to be dating his fellow Voice coach Gwen Stefani. Blake and Gwen eventually confirmed their relationship the same day Miranda had to take the CMA stage to perform, which did not bear well with Miranda. But, she took to Instagram the day after to declare that she’s “so grateful” for her amazing life, so obviously she’s keeping it together.
Despite hitting a rough patch in her personal life, Miranda has had an incredible year with her career. She took home the ACM for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Female Vocalist of the Year, the latter of which she also won a CMA for just days before her birthday. Plus, she was awarded the second Grammy of her career in February! She also got the chance to perform at all three awards shows, so clearly she’s doing something right!
In the middle of all of her award show excitement, Miranda even received a star on the Music City Walk of Fame in September! Then about a month later, Miranda was invited to join her friend Taylor Swift on stage to duet on her song “Little Red Wagon” in North Carolina on October 21. Can you say unreal?
So we think Miranda have a reason to celebrate her 32nd birthday.
